Who wants to opt for a language skill at school?
Our Sanako UK Director, David Binns, continues to deliver his extremely popular MFL student career talks around the country and even as far afield as Hong Kong & Malaysia.
But much closer to home, after a career talk this week in the UK, students were asked were asked for feedback.
Some very interesting and some very amusing, but all were very positive about languages in their future careers as you can see below
- It has made me think that languages are actually important for your future
- I love languages and today they showed me they are very important so now I want to learn more languages than the ones I already know
- Made me feel even more love for language and its importance in jobs
- When I go skiing in France it will be helpful to talk to everyone
- It made me realise the places that they can take you and how important they are to employers
- It makes me want to do a language for GCSE so I can get a job easier
- It showed how much you need languages in your life
- I want to learn languages so I can make money and make a business and potentially make billions
- It has made me more excited to continue learning languages
- I think it made me want to learn more languages and motivated me
- It was very interesting hearing different people's perspectives on what languages have done for them and how it makes me want to keep learning languages so I can put it on my CV
- It was helpful because I have always loved Italy and I learned some Italian
- It has helped me because now I can thrive in business using multiple languages
- Maybe taking a language for a level to open extra doors and boost the likelihood of being accepted by university choices
